Las Tojas (Don Mario)
Las Tojas is a series of subparallel gold-bearing shear zones hosted by
a quartz-amphibole-garnet-magnetite-cordierite schist. AMEC (Peru) S.A.
completed a National Instrument 43-101 resource calculation of the Las
Tojas gold deposit effective December 19, 2008.

During fiscal 2008, it was decided to process this gold mineralization.
To try to maintain the past levels of annual gold production, a
generator and ball mill were commissioned in June 2009 to increase
throughput to about 2,000 tonnes per day at the Don Mario Mine.
Nonetheless, year-on-year production will decrease. The potential to discover
more gold on trend with the Las Tojas deposit is high and exploration is
ongoing.
